I remember a few years back I went to ici paris in Amsterdam (nowadays, if you live in the NL, you can only get urban decay online) and randomly swatched this eyeshadow single. Usually I don't buy things impulsively, and that time I didn't either... only because it was sold out 😬 I ordered it online shortly after the visit. It's just magical - a transparent warm nude base with a million of sparkles, so many that it almost makes your eyelids look wet. In the low light it's even more beautiful. You only get to see the sparkles when the light hits them. That makes it also very 'everyday friendly' - you can apply it sheerly or build it up, but it will never be too much. It is called 'space cowboy', the UD updated the packaging, if you were to buy it now, you'd get a more sleek transparent component. Mine is still from the old line but I think I'll hit pan on it very soon. Once it's done, I'll repurchase it 1000%. I think its the one and only irreplaceable eyeshadow in my collection, how crazy is that? It doesn't fall out, doesn't crease and stays on for a very long time - all that without any special eye primer (I usually just use some concealer to prime my eyelids). I apply it with my finger - that way you get the most out of it. In short - yes, yes and yes. Gorgeous piece of makeup.

Deze look heb ik gemaakt met het Urban Decay Naked reloaded palette en de Urban Decay Moondust glitter eyeshadow in de kleur Space Cowboy. Ik hou van redelijk neutrale en gouden kleuren in mijn ooglooks, maar het leek me leuk om eens een glitter te proberen voor wat extra sparkle. Na wat Googlen kwam ik uit op de Urban Decay Moondust glitter eyeshadows en de kleur Space Cowboy sprak me het meeste aan. Het is een witgouden glitter met een beige achtergrond kleur en hij glittert prachtig! Voor deze look heb ik voor het eerst geprobeerd om een soort van Halo Eye te maken; donker in beide ooghoeken en de lichte kleuren en glitter midden op het ooglid. Wat ik merk tijdens het gebruik van de Urban Decay Moondust glitter eyeshadow in Space Cowboy is dat hij een prachtig glitter effect geeft, maar helaas ook heel erg veel fallout op de rest van mijn gezicht 😅. Opzich niet zo heel erg, dat betekent alleen dat je moet beginnen met je ooglook om daarna pas je concealer en dergelijke aan te brengen. Dan kun je de glitters even van je gezicht afhalen met wat make-up remover en daarna pas de rest van je make-up doen. Al met al vind ik dat hij een heel erg mooi subtiel glitter effect geeft, maar dus helaas wel redelijk wat fallout.
