Guys, today I'm going to talk to you about a cream that really surprised me: the Protini Polypeptide Cream by Drunk Elephant. I had seen it everywhere, super hype on TikTok and among the most talked about “clean” brands... and in the end I decided to try it out well, day and night, to understand if it's really worth the price (spoiler: yes, but not for everyone). So, let's start with the texture: it's a light, super comfortable gel-cream. It absorbs immediately, does not stick, does not leave a white trace or greasy effect. The feeling on the skin is like... velvet. I also use it as a makeup base and it holds up great. For me who has normal/combination skin, it's perfect, especially now that it's warmer. The formula is really interesting. Inside there are peptides, which stimulate collagen and improve skin tone, amino acids that help strengthen the skin barrier, hyaluronic acid for hydration, and then antioxidant extracts such as lotus flower and African waterlily. In short, it is a mix of hydration, anti-aging treatment and protection. One thing I really liked is that it doesn't smell. Zero. And for those with sensitive skin like mine, it's a blessing. The packaging is also super hygienic: it is airless, so you don't stick your fingers in it, and always dose the right amount. That said... it also has drawbacks. The first is the price: we are about 80€, so it's definitely not an entry level cream. And second, for those with very dry skin, it may not be enough on its own, especially in winter or if you are using strong active ingredients such as retinol. I see it as an intelligent cuddle: if you are over 25 years old, you want to start treating your skin in a more “functional” way without using too many products, this cream does practically everything in one. Would I buy it back? Yes, but only when I really want to invest in my skincare. It's not one of those basic everyday creams, but it's perfect if you're looking for an anti-aging product that feels light, but works hard.

She was super soft and completely hydrated. You should not use much, a small nut of the cream is enough. I would absolutely recommend this product!

This is the softest, airiest and lightest moisturiser I have ever used in my life! My best friend got me into this product and I only wish I hadn’t got it sooner. I tried the pink drunk elephant moisturiser as my skin is dehydrated and that’s meant to be a hydration moisturiser- however, was disappointed as it wasn’t as nice to apply as this one. Got this one for my birthday and am SO pleased, one pump is enough for your whole face and it barely smells of anything either which is a plus. My skin looks and feels amazing 😍 100/10

I love this product it’s my go to daytime moisturiser and i have quite oily skin. it really helps with my acne but doesn’t make me look greasy which i have really struggled with in the past with daytime moisturisers. also layers really nice with any other drunk elephant products or even non drunk elephant!

I have mild rosacia and this balm is light weight, sinks deeply into the skin and reduces redness and creates silky skin to the touch. I really enjoyed the fragrance of this product and had no irritations to my face. I did prep my skin beforehand with the cleansing milk and moisturiser from the redness reduce collection but the balm was and is an important finishing step in my skin routine. Even though its moderately expensive, it does what it claims to do.

I've been using it for few years now. It's a pink colour and leaves a beautiful sheen on a face. Once applied, you have to work quite fast with your foundation though because once it dries it will make your face look a bit patchy. Prefer it to Mac Strobe Cream.

Top cream. After an evening with alcohol, your skin may feel a bit tight and look dull due to a lack of moisture. After applying this cream, it feels fresh and makes you look more radiant. Feels like a mini lift. Also recommended in the cold winter months. I often get the comment that I look so good after using this cream, so I've already recommended it to several friends.

Ideal if you get a little tanner because of the sun, you don't have to buy new foundation every time;) Foundation spreads very easily, is lightweight and, in my opinion, has good coverage!

L'Oréal Paris C'est Magic CC Cream I had to write about the CC Cream anyway. I'm never a fan of CC Cream myself, because of poor coverage and I never really like it, but this CC Cream is really different. I was shocked when I went to test the product's color. Because it was 'green'. Yes, really green! I applied the product with my hand and smeared it on my face. And soon after, the green color changed to my skin color. How cool is that? The coverage is also really great for a CC Cream and my mega dry skin shines again :-) It also contains SPF/LSF which is great again in the summer!! I definitely recommend this product!

Hi Evies! With my combination skin, I always had trouble finding a matching foundation/cc cream that doesn't give my skin a cakey complex. I found this cc cream from L'Oréal interesting for a while now and I decided to try it out. It lubricates very easily and I apply it to the skin with my fingers instead of a beauty blender. It absorbs fairly quickly but because I have a combination skin, it is important that I also finish it with some powder. I usually do a whole makeup routine with eyeshadow and eyeliner but I am now comfortable enough to wear as little makeup as possible because my skin looks so good because of this cc cream. I am very happy with it and I will be using this for a very long time too! Try it out!

It smells deliciously like (you can guess:)) roses, has a slightly thicker texture, but you won't notice it 1-2 min after application. Dr hauschka is one of the most beautiful brands in existence for me. From my beautician training 2010 until now, I've been using it. You really feel it working on your skin and that's what you want to feel. Rose cream can actually be used for everything and for any skin type, it absorbs quickly into the skin, leaves no greasy layer but makes the house feel hydrated.

It is a type of greenish cream, which makes the redness on my skin fade away. That's very nice with rosacea, it doesn't irritate me either and my skin seems a lot smoother. I use it as a primer under my makeup. Definitely does what it promises!

Rosalique conceals immediately when you apply it, soothes the skin with 5 active ingredients and provides effective long-term protection with an SPF50. Isn't this just selling itself?! Also economical and easy to apply with your fingers, very suitable for people with skin problems. At the moment I don't have one but I really can't live without it either! I first use my day cream and then apply Rosalique. Then I powder it off a bit and that's it!
