For people familiar with self tanners and the bali body brand, I will be the few honest reviews. But before I start that I want to tell you a little bit more about the brand. Balibody is a very well-known brand with a huge social media platform, especially instagram. It is an Australian brand that specializes mainly in tanning oils, i.e. sun oil (for faster tanning results). Recently they have also released self-tanners and this really exploded the internet. Just good reviews and thousands of rave comments. This is nice and nice, of course, but the question is whether they are justified reviews. I have no doubt that it is a 'good' product but rather the fact that how many comments and reviews are fair. Many influencers who promote the brand clearly show that they are paid or partnership promotions. A good example: Balibody repost influencer photos, but oddly enough if you go to that same post on the instagram page of that same influencer, you can see that the influencer has NOT even tagged the balibody brand, but balibody repost it on their own hands and says that the influencer does not even tag the balibody brand. influencer has used a particular product, e.g. the self-tanner, while it is clearly brown due to the effects of the natural sun. These types of posts often give me doubt. It is also clear that a lot of instagrammers, including influencers, only explicitly promote the brand so that they are posted on their instagram page. That creates publicity. All of this tells me enough whether influencer reviews are fair or not. Anyway, I'll give my review about this product: I've had some self-tanners myself, but I have to say that this product smells very good (big bonus) and doesn't have such a dirty coconut scent. Maybe you like that, but I don't like it at all. It has a fresh floral scent and is pretty light. It also gives a dark and brown result but note that the product is not 'streak-free'. For the rest, it's a pretty good self tanner, but not special. I certainly do not find the explosive responses to me. For the price you paid about €29, I expected more of it. The only reason I would have to buy it would be because of its self-tanning scent. You don't have to misunderstand me, it's a great product and it does its job. But it's not a fantastic thing that fell from the sky.
