Serum or Booster? What's the difference?
We all know the difference between a day and night cream, one is for the night, the other for the day, duh;) We also know where to lubricate an eye cream and that the skin under our eyes is thinner and more sensitive. But do you know the difference between a serum or booster? We'd love to explain it to you! ⭐️ A serum is an activator with highly concentrated active ingredients applied before the other skin care products. Thanks to its light and fast-absorbing texture, the active ingredients are absorbed faster and deeper into the skin. A serum contains multiple active ingredients to address different skin imperfections. Also, a serum optimizes the absorption of creams. When using both a serum and cream, the ingredients strengthen each other at all levels of the skin, so they work perfectly together. 🚀 The main function of a booster is to strengthen the epidermis. This outer layer has a crucial function in protecting your skin from dehydration and infections. A strong epidermis provides a shiny healthy skin with a younger look. Due to its concentrated formula, it is advisable to use a booster as a temporary cure, for example in extremely dry skin that is urgent in need of hydration. Booster gives your skin a boost for one or a few weeks. Or maybe your skin has become dull due to seasonal changes or poor sleep? A cure with a booster makes for a nice glow. You apply the booster to a cleansed face in front of your serum. A few drops will suffice. Better yet is to mix a few drops of a skin booster with your usual day cream, serum or even foundation. Are you using a serum or booster? Or maybe both? Let us know!
