Review: LED masker
Don't be alarmed! This isn't The Purge of Silence of the Lambs mask. This is an LED mask that I purchased last summer. There are currently a lot of LED masks on the market, so this is more of a general review about how they work and my own experience. You have different colors that you can set in different intensities for a certain period of time. These colors have a positive effect on your skin. I used this intensively for a while, then not for a while and the difference is really noticeable. So I got off to a good start again. Below is the review! ✨ Research has been done into LED light therapy, below is a brief summary. Of the colors I use with this device. You can safely use the colors one after the other (but not longer than an hour). ❤️ Many studies have been done on LED light therapy, especially the red color. The most important study was conducted by NASA years ago. The study was intended to see how plants in space reacted to the red light: very positive, they grew better and faster. In addition, there was a positive side effect: the astronauts who had wounds or were ill in space healed faster under red LED light. This is because the red light stimulates the receptors in your skin that produce collagen. I really notice a difference with this color, my skin feels' bouncy 'when I use this mask for a few days. You shouldn't expect miracles, but if you're consistent, you'll see a real difference after a while. 💙 Several studies have also been done on blue light, with effective results in reducing acne/inflammation in the skin. This helps great in reducing acne. Fortunately, this doesn't bother me extremely much, but when I feel one coming up during my monthly party: use this mask for ten minutes and it's almost gone the next day. 💚 The green color is good for calming the skin and smoothing the face (even against hyperpigmentation). There has been little research on this, but I really notice a difference in the amount of redness I have before and after using this mask. Especially the next day, I see a noticeable difference. Skin feels calmer and less red and a lot smoother.
