Spring at home with this colorful lip balm!

It's spring again! It may not have felt that way with all the snow and hail of the past few days, but it really starts to look brighter and more fun outside. One of the most beautiful things about spring I still find all the flowering trees and plants that pass by. And my biggest favorite of all is cherry blossom anyway. And yes, that's certainly partly because of my love for Ritual's Sakura line. 😉 Now I was ordering a new cleanser on douglas, when I suddenly saw this Cherry Blossom lip balm from MAC. Well then I didn't have a choice anymore, and before I knew it, it was in my shopping basket. This sakura-inspired line has 4 colors, of which I went for 'Blossoms or Bust'. It includes shea butter, mango and jojoba seed oil that promise to soften and moisturize your lips. Although the colour in the picture may look rather daunting bright pink, it is very easy on your lips as you can see. I think it gives a nice, well-groomed look to your lips. In that respect, I am certainly very pleased with it. What's more, of course, the packaging is as beautiful as it looked on the website in real life. So one more plus. What I like a little less about it is that it doesn't sit super well. You need to keep relubricating it regularly to keep seeing the colour. Besides, it certainly doesn't dry out my lips, but I don't feel like they're being very groomed either. What's wrong is that it dries up 'naturally', so it's not like it looks crazy if you don't reapply it. So no mistake for me, but I don't think I'm going to buy it again. All in all, I just expected a little more from this product, as I'm generally very happy with MAC's lip products. It costs quite a bit too, so you can expect a little more of it, you'd say. P.S. please don't pay attention to my hair in the picture, I'm trying to wear my hair in a middle parting at the moment, but as you can see my hair doesn't quite agree with that yet 🙈
