I use it when the summer color has slowly faded and the pale winter face reappears. It gives a bit more coverage and I also think it gives more of a color than my summer product (other brand). It does smooth out your color and gives you a well-groomed feeling. The base is oily, so it may not be suitable for oily skin. The only disadvantage is that it does not work when wearing a white blouse, for example.
