Clarins Fresh Scrub Clarins - Cleansing & Toning Fresh Scrub

I've received a travel edition of this scrub a few times with my order, very nice to try out, because I often don't like the samples you can choose at Clarins. I was glad to see that the term “refreshing” doesn't mean that it smells like eucalyptus or anything, or that it feels like you're putting peppermint oil on your skin. It smells subtly fresh. Not masculine, not minty, but neither sweet nor citrusy. I am always very careful with scrub because you can quickly damage your skin, even with this one. The grains feel slightly sharp, but because they are in a nice thick cream, you can still handle the stuff fairly carefully. What I especially liked is that after rinsing off, I don't feel like my skin is completely stripped. She feels clean and hydrated and I don't feel like I need to use a mask afterwards to restore the moisture balance. I wouldn't buy it myself because I'd rather use an exfoliator instead of a scrub, but if you like a scrub, and one with a neutral, non-dominant scent, this might be something for you.
