Lip smacker Coca Cola

I grew up in the 90s, so naturally, the Coca Cola logo is extra recognisable and nostalgic. All those soft drink commercials at the time and the competition between Coca Cola, Pepsi, 7up and later Fanta. But of course, Coca Cola had the best Christmas commercials. Yes, that is no longer possible; soft drinks are promoted as little as possible. Quite a shame because when I have to watch those endless commercials, I prefer to watch something fun and original. And that's what Coca Cola Company spent a large part of its advertising budget on. But that aside.. I was walking in the Kruidvat and saw the lip balm from lip smacker with the Coca Cola logo lying around for €1.99. But, why not actually. It's funny, isn't it? Good to know: no real Coca Cola is used in such products. Of course, Coca Cola remains a soft drink and has a liquid form. Should you mix this, the entire structure will be changed. The scent is often imitated with fragrances and flavors to get as close to the cola flavor as possible. The lip balm has a brown color and smells very sweet. Like cola but even sweeter. It's nice to spread but it also tastes like sweet cola at the same time. Strange... I'm not a fan of flavored lip balms but of course this was inevitable with this lip balm 😅. I don't like it but that has more to do with how it works. The balm barely moisturizes the lips and because you tend to lick off the cola flavor, not much of the lip balm is left behind. It's a nice idea and funny that Coca Cola is participating in this. Coca Cola logos should not be used just like that, so of course this is a collaboration. Too bad lip smacker did not provide better quality. I won't buy the lip balm anymore but I liked it. That's why 3 stars.
