e.l.f. Cosmetics Hydrating Core Shine

when I say I love this product. boy. I have about 4 of them; one for everywhere. it’s such a flattering colour on me and doesn’t overpower the whole look. I’ve used this product for months now and I can’t imagine not having it in my makeup bag. this colour is divine (so are the others, depending on what colours you like to wear). on me, this shade has a kind of cherry tint to my lips, with a slight hint of purple, like a moody version of the viral Clinique balm. I also have sensitive lips due to allergies and this doesn’t aggravate my lips at all, even during a flare up. Has a sweet grapefruit kind of scent, not overbearing or too much and you can’t smell it when on your lips even if the fragrance isn’t for you.

I loved this lip balm because it’s so hydrating and the colour goes perfectly with my skin tone. The only issue I had was that the product would always move to one side after a few weeks of use. The colour would also recede much faster than the clear ‘core’ so you were getting less of the colour. Other than that, it’s a good product. 

When I bought this balm in Ecstatic color,I was thinking it will be like black honey from Clinique,complementing for everyone. In a result I got some color which makes my lips look like I'm dead or was staying in a cold water for too long.So it's not suitable for people with light skin and lips.

it’s cheap, it’s such a nice, natural, brilliant colour and my lips feel way softer when i put it one. it’s my go to lipstick of the moment. cons? it’s not super lasting
