Hydra Matte Pore Correct Velvet Cream

This Figs & Rouge Hydra Matte Pore Correct Velvet Cream comes in a super cute pink tube with gold lettering. I use it after eye cream and serum as a day cream and primer at the same time. It smells nice and subtle and absorbs super fast, makes the skin smooth and soft and ensures that my makeup stays in place all day long! It also makes the pores slightly matter. Too bad it's a Limited Edition, although I found it quite expensive.

This blush pink version is a limited edition and probably no longer easily available, but the normal version is still available. I received the Hydra matte Pore correct velvet cream (limited blush pink version) in the 2021 Dutch Beauty Award Goodie Box. This annual box often contains new products that are nominated to be the best product of that year. But Figs&Rouge's blush pink primer should have arrived in a box earlier, so it was actually a backorder. Maybe it's because I've used another primer before (the Pore professional) and that's why I'm disappointed with this primer. Had I received this primer earlier than... still, my usual foundation and powder react with the primer. The effect of the primer is thus lost; as if the foundation had been wiped away. And that's a shame because the packaging with that gold and girly pink looks so luxurious. By the way, I don't know why a limited pink version was released because the color of a primer doesn't really matter (I think) but maybe that's just for fun and that's okay. So this primer was not a success for me and I donated it for a small price.
