Star Wedding Artistry Palette

From the first moment I saw this palette, I thought, I MUST have it! The Jeffree Star, star wedding palette. The colors immediately appealed to me, and I always love the quality of the Jeffree Star palettes. I immediately placed a pre-order at the Boozyshop. I couldn't wait to get my hands on this palette and start using it. Finally, it was inside and I just looked at it for quite a while, I really like it even better than in the pictures. The outer case is white with a silver lace print. The palette itself is completely shiny silver, with of course a print of the famous Jeffree Star logo with a wedding ring around the star, and is incredibly heavy. I've never felt a palette that heavy before. There is a fairly large mirror inside and the lid is stopped with a white ribbon. The matte shadows are buttery soft, highly pigmented, blend like a dream and stay in place throughout the day. A disadvantage is that there is a lot of kickback, personally I don't think this is a big problem as long as the pigment is good, and if you tap your brush off neatly, there is little to no fallout. The black color is super black, I don't have one palette where the black shadow is so intensely beautiful black. Then the shimmers, these are generally soft, well pigmented, fairly easy to blend but most of them are not really nice to apply with a brush. They are best applied with your finger and because they have a fair amount of fallout, a glitter primer is certainly not superfluous. The color “cut the cake” (great names, by the way) is a completely different story. I don't know if anything went wrong with the production, but this one is really a nightmare and completely falls apart as soon as you touch it with your brush, and if you're not careful, your whole face is covered in glitter. (And you're lucky if it's just your face) When it's over, it's beautiful, but what a drama. Another disadvantage of the shimmers is that when I blend them, I occasionally get a tingling feeling in my eyes. I've never experienced this before with a palette. I don't regret my purchase because I think there are many more plus points to this palette. I was very unsure whether I wanted to give 3 or 4 stars, but as you can see, there are 4 😬 because I am very happy with this palette.
