Sensitive skin
Slightly too much Razzle D
Yep, it's time for an honest Starskin review again. I'm a starskin giga fan and I've reviewed several. Recently I received a Starskin package as a gift when subscribing to a magazine. Of course I was blazing excited! The 3 masks of the 'Juicelab' line were also in it and I hadn't tried them yet. So I'm equal to testing beaten. But... unfortunately the result was rather disappointing... Using the Razzle Dazzle mask is almost as easy as with their other sheet masks. And the ingredients are all organic too. But after having the sheet mask on my face for a few minutes, it started to poke and burn. I have very sensitive skin, so that's not necessarily new. But when I took off the mask after the specified time, my face was bright red! As if I was burned by the sun. I called the GP and advised me to wash off the rest of the serum immediately and cool my face with a cold compress. After an hour the burning sensation was reduced and after having regularly held a compress against my face for 2 days, the redness had disappeared completely. It wasn't an allergic reaction according to the doctor. But there were so many citrus-like ingredients in it that my skin reacted tremendously to it. In short: I'm never going to use this product again and I don't have to try the rest of the Juice lab line, honestly. Of course, I'm still a fan of Starskin, but I'll check the ingredients a little better before testing a new mask.
