Badee-Al-Oud Amethyst

Scent Profile Notes Breakdown: • Top: Pink pepper, bergamot • Middle: Turkish rose, Bulgarian rose, jasmine • Base: Oud (agarwood), amber, vanilla This composition delivers a bold rose-oud floral heart enriched by warm, sweet, resinous base notes—a classic Middle Eastern olfactive combination. ⸻ Performance & Longevity This fragrance is renowned for its powerhouse performance: • A reviewer praised its “beast mode” longevity and “nuclear” sillage on Fragrantica. • Another shared that even a single spray stayed on clothing, filling a wardrobe the next day. • On websites like Notino, reviews consistently mention impressive projection and longevity: “It’s a beast in longevity and projection… needs a bit of maceration…” • Store descriptions echo these claims, citing 8–12 hours of lasting power depending on skin type. Note: Performance can vary. Some users report weaker performance or synthetic nuances; others encounter strong, persistent projection—even headaches or off-notes like “gasoline” or “rubbery” scent. ⸻ Overall Character & Vibe Strengths: • Luxurious, dramatic aura: A commanding rose-oud with sweet-smooth vanilla and amber. • High value: Delivers boutique-quality scent at a fraction of the price. • Beautiful packaging: Darkly stylish with a purple-hued bottle and ornate detailing. Caveats: • Intense profile: It’s often described as a “rose bomb,” “dark woody rose,” or having “dark rotten wood” nuances. Great for bold wearers, but not for subtle scent lovers. • Controversially strong: Some find the opening synthetic or even headache-inducing. Others say maceration (letting it rest) helps soften the harsh edges. • Gender perception: Though marketed as unisex, many perceive it as leaning feminine because of the rose dominance—yet some male users embrace it with confidence. ⸻ Real-World Voices “If you like intense rose perfumes with a strong oud backbone, this is a treasure… beast mode… Nuclear projection.” “It smells like gasoline.” “It gives me headaches.” “Still projects 6 hours later on my clothes.” “Rose bomb with oud.” “Synthetic drydown, but nice.” ⸻ Final Verdict What Makes It Win • Dramatic, lush, and unapologetically loud—ideal for evening wear, colder months, or moments when you want to leave a statement. • Remarkably long-lasting, offering luxury-level performance at a budget-friendly price. • A centerpiece fragrance—for someone bold, confident, and unafraid of carrying an intense scent. What to Consider • Not beginner-friendly—its power and richness may be overwhelming. • Maceration or layering may be necessary if you find the freshness or opening too aggressive. • Personal chemistry varies drastically—test before committing to a full bottle if possible.

Badee al oud amethyst

Honestly brilliant perfume, got it as a blind buy and was so worth it, good projection and longevity and a gorgeous smell. If you’re looking for a rose scent, but not overly feminine, this is perfect. Compared to the rest of they Badee al oud line, this one is definitely best, due to the versatility and scent. The presentation of the bottle and the box is nice too and it has a great atomiser.
