Perhaps it is worth giving it a try. ********* If you have curls, you know what I mean when I say that the conditioner always runs out faster than the shampoo. You can imagine how surprised I was that that wasn't the case with this duo. Once upon a time, I bought a set at the Brainwash hairdresser. Now it's my go to shampoo and conditioner. The conditioner makes your hair really soft. Because it spreads easily, you really don't need much. I found it important that there are no silicones in my conditioner. That annoys me. This conditioner doesn't have that so I often just leave it in my hair. My curls then get a nice definition. I use the shampoo and conditioner during laundry day, when I need another clarifyer (cleansing shampoo) because of the build up. So I don't use it every week, because I usually use a nourishing shampoo so that my curls don't dry out. For that reason, the bottles last a very long time. So when I notice that my hair is really dirty, I use this shampoo. And with the conditioner, I then close my hair cuticles again. I think it's important to always use a shampoo and conditioner from the same brand so you can be sure that they are well coordinated. Furthermore, the conditioner is very caring, so that's a plus! I don't necessarily need to use another moisturizer afterwards.
