NARS Afterglow Lip Balm 3g (Various Shades) - ORGASM

Ah, the siren song of tinted lip balms... The fastest way to look at least 60% more put together? Application that's impossible to mess up even for a clutz like me? Avoiding chapped lips and I get to have fun with it? Now this is how you become my number one impulse buy! NARS Afterglow is on the spennier side for a lip balm; I picked it up when I was in need of a serious treat. Sidenote, I find the NARS sex-themed product names pretty naff - just because it works for the OG Orgasm blush, doesn't mean you should spin it out to your whole line! Afterglow itself is not horrible, but one of the shade names was crass enough to eliminate itself from consideration. Instead I went for Turbo, which is a vivid cherry red that builds up beautifully from a subtle flush of colour with one swipe to an almost lipstick-like saturation if you keep going. I just have nothing bad to say about it? It glides beautifully and leaves my lip moisturised but not sticky. It does need to be reapplied after a few hours but lasts rather well for a lip balm. Very neutral smelling too, which is a big plus in my book. If I have one quibble, it's that the otherwise lovely packaging design makes it easy to chip the stick of balm while closing the bullet. I definitely want to try more shades, but maybe when they go on sale and not the crass one.

I actually bought this on a whim and I don’t regret it one bit. It looks beautiful on the lips. Normally I’m a Matte lip kind of girl but I feel like this may have transformed me. I can’t wait to wear it on holiday I’m already holding back buying more

My Thoughts I absolutely love this balm, it makes my lips feel really soft, smooth and hydrated with a pop of colour, It's good for any time of day. If you want minimal make-up you can wear it on it's own or underneath lipstick to keep your lips feeling their best. They come in a variety of different shades so there's a shade for everyone.

Bought this product after reading multiple reviews on here about how good this helps when struggling with dry lips and I totally agree! It helped my lips become more hydrated again and gives the lips a nice color at the same time! I bought the color “Turbo” and I’m definitely planning on buying more of them in the near future!
