Olaplex’s No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo is a sulfate-free, bond-repairing shampoo designed to cleanse gently while strengthening damaged or color-treated hair. Here’s a refined overview based on the latest reviews and alternatives: ⸻ 🌟 What people like about it • Gentle yet effective cleanse: Highly concentrated and silky, it builds a rich lather that cleans thoroughly without leaving hair squeaky dry . • Lightweight hydration & repair: Their formula refreshes and softens hair after weeks of color or heat treatment, without heaviness (). • Salon-grade scent & feel: Fresh, subtle grapefruit fragrance adds to the premium salon experience (). • Award recognition: No. 4 and No. 5 conditioner were winners in Allure’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards for bond-strengthening performance . ⸻ ⚠️ Potential downsides • Pricey: At about €18–€28 per 250 ml, it’s on the expensive side. This product is great when you've absolutely damaged your hair from head tools and constant colouring. This is the product to rejuvenate your hair back to health ... no magic wand - but works well, is non-greezy and doesn't have that dreaded crunch factor.

Brilliant

I love to use this shampoo it has repaired my hair in the past from colouring damage. I used to have broken and dry fizzy hair now my hair is smooth and it feels soo good. I am not using it to much as it’s also very pricey however it’s worth every single penny

The best shampoo

This shampoo helped my hair when I bleached it so much. It is one of the best shampoos ever. It is slightly pricy but it is worth it. It will last you months too as you only need a pea size at a time. It is genuinely such an amazing shampoo. I highly recommend.
