OPI Nail Care & Essentials Repair Mode

I had such high hopes for this product but it was the worst nail treatment I’ve ever used. My nails were prone to breaking & not particularly strong so I purchased this & followed the instructions to apply twice a day. Within a week my nails were considerably worse, breaking, splitting vertically & discolouring. Then they started lifting from the nail bed, some up to half way down to the cuticle & some have become sore & extremely sensitive. Obviously I stopped using it but the damage was already done & I t’s gonna take months to grow the damage out. The OPI website has a number of reviews similar to mine with the same problems. I’m still waiting for a response from them after a month. Save yourself £30 & do not buy

Temporarily, this certainly seems to help. After six days of use, my nails feel firmer and look a bit healthier after years of using artificial nails. However, I do regret that it is not a product that you can use in the longer term, I fear that the effect will disappear.
