Vegan cruelty free hydrating Shampoo.
Hi everyone, Today a review of a product and brand I'm very happy with. I had used O&M products that I liked before so when this brand immediately came to mind when I went looking for new hair products. I had the seven day Miracle hair mask, which has been running out for a while now, that I'm really going to buy again. This time I needed new shampoos and conditioners because I had tried from different brands and Ouai's no longer vegan (all those posts can be found on my shelfie). O&M was a logical choice for me now, especially since I finally went to the hairdresser's 8 August and they had a nice bundle offer. I had chosen the Hydrate & Conquer “for ultimate hydration” by recommendation and my own research because I love nourishing but airy shampoos. This shampoo is delicious; it hydrates, it nourishes, it is not too heavy or greasy, smells like coconut fairground and subtle cotton candy and my hair feels super soft after use. I had no straw-like feeling, pulling or heaviness with this shampoo, my hair was wonderfully soft, airy and elastic right after first use. On my scalp I notice that there is a detox effect, I had a little dandruff/accelerated skin replacement and a little drier feeling at first, but that disappeared after 1/2 use. My scalp & hair feel and eyes are much healthier now, I also notice that I have much less suffering from excessively dry scalp making it very oily. So it's more nourished and less oily. My hair shines extra after use and I really love it for extremely soft silky hair. It is a Peta approved Australian brand with vegan, cruelty free, gluten free, sulphate free parabenentriclosan propylene glycol MIT and in sustainable (re) packaging. A whole mouth full. But of course I am delighted with that. I love this brand and this product, the only minor minus I personally have is that the packaging/bottles are awkward for me. It's a pretty thick wide squeeze bottle and I have pain & trouble myself when I have to put a lot of force in my hands. So it's pretty awkward and painful for me to squeeze the bottle with one hand and pick up the product with my other hand. This is especially with the conditioner because it is thicker, with the shampoo I suffer less because it is more liquid. Opening the bottle when running out is almost impossible, as the material is thicker and firmer than the average packaging. So for me this is a product and brand that suits me well. X Vonne
