Volume Shampoo 300ml

I bought this shampoo seen a new trend in hair care, a personalized shampoo and conditioner. At first I looked at brands like Function of Beauty, but I didn't really dare to. That's why I ended up with OUAI. Based on a survey on your hair type, they recommend a combination of one of their shampoos and their conditioners (not entirely personal, but specifically selected for your hair). My result was the Volume Shampoo combined with the Repair Conditioner. I had indicated that I was suffering from sensitive, irritated scalp and lifeless hair. Both of the products smell delicious (the conditioner even better than the shampoo), which is an unwise advantage in my eyes. Unfortunately, it's not really suitable for my hair. Despite having indicated in advance, this shampoo is too heavy for my scalp. In addition, the Volume shampoo adds little actual volume to my hair. The Repair conditioner helps well against frizzy or damaged hair. All in all, I'm a little disappointed in the hype surrounding this survey that precedes buying this hair product. Anyway, it's nice shampoo and conditioner, even though it doesn't really do something special with my hair.

This product really disappointed me, at the very price (almost €30, -)! Really a setback... 👎🏼 I had read a lot about the Wave Spray and Texturizing Hairspray from OUAI online, so after purchasing it I wanted to try the Shampoo and Conditioner. I chose the Volume line because my fine hair can use some volume at a stroke. This shampoo made my hair really fluffy and dry... I even got tangles in the shower that went out hard! 😩 In addition, I really needed a lot of product to clean my hair and I don't even have a lot or long hair (something over my shoulder). Nor did it give my hair much more volume and the scent is rather predominant. By the way, I read that OUAI has changed the formulas of their shampoos, but I must honestly say I won't buy it again soon!
