OK for beach waves and curls

I've read through various reviews about the product and can't understand some of them at all. Either I have a completely different product or the reviews are incorrect. In any case, my product doesn't smell wonderful, but is rather neutral chemical. Nor does it give me shiny hair and sorry, my hair is glued neatly and the product is not easy to brush out either. According to the description, the paste gives the hair a matte, stranded texture with movable, lasting definition. Ideal for short to mid-length hairstyles. In fact, the hair becomes dull and stranded as promised. I can imagine the paste great for men or women with short hairstyles, the look can be redefined and shaped again and again. With my hair, which is already matte due to an ashy tone, I like the matte look less. The stricky texture also looks modest on my half-length fine hair. What works for my length is when I knead the paste into my slightly damp hair and blow-dry it with the diffuser. Then something like beach waves is created. However, it is not a natural fall of waves, but the hair becomes dry and stiff. It also works for curl definition, i.e. if you have a perm, natural curls, or your hair has been previously worked with curlers or curling irons. This then has a similar effect to hair wax. I found that really cool in combination with a perm in the 90s, unfortunately not anymore today. The product is certainly not bad for short hairstyles; only I just can't quite do anything with it. 🤷‍♀️
