Very nice shampoo
Very nice shampoo! I saw this brand everywhere for curly hair and since I ran out of shampoo by chance, I decided to buy this shampoo. It is a shampoo for all hair types (including colored hair), it deeply cleanses the hair and removes heavy build-up. It is a very mild product, which prevents hair breakage and promotes healthy hair growth. First of all, I really like the idea that there is no 'crap' in it, such as sulfates, etc. The shampoo is made of shea butter. It is a very affordable shampoo, I paid €10.20 for it at Bol, but I just saw that it is also available at Kruidvat and Etos for €6.99. You will then receive a 400ml bottle. Compared to the shampoo that I first used on the hairdresser's recommendation (Affinage Mode Colour Care Shampoo €17.05), this is therefore a lot cheaper! Of course, it is a bit more expensive than most drugstore shampoos, but it often contains more substances that are not good for your hair. Secondly, it makes my hair super soft because of the shea butter. I always have a whole routine for washing my hair, namely: - shampoo - silver shampoo - shampoo - conditioner - dry slightly (with a t-shirt) - leave-in conditioner - let it dry (preferably without a hair dryer, if I do use a hair dryer, heat protection always comes in first) - invisible gel to prevent frizz So I wash it twice with this shampoo. The first time, it doesn't foam very much (this is often the case with 'good' shampoos), but it does foam more than the shampoo I used before. Personally, I like this. The second time, of course, it foams a little more. I am also very satisfied with the result, my curls looked healthy and only one strand of hair was really fluffy. We are now 5 days later and my hair still looks nice, today is the first day I've needed dry shampoo (normally this is around day 3). I usually wash my hair around the 4th day, now I can go almost a week without it! So I'm very satisfied with this shampoo and I'm really curious about the rest of this brand's products, especially those that are specific to curly hair! The only downside is the smell, because it's not really present, but for a natural shampoo, I actually think this is quite logical. Conclusion: Ingredients: Shea Butter. No silicones, parabens, sulfates or dehydrating alcohol. Availability: At Kruidvat, Bol, Etos. Effect: Hydrates, nourishes, makes your hair healthier, keeps my hair fresh for a long time. Cruelty free: Yes. Smell: Not very strong. Doesn't necessarily smell good, not annoying either. Very neutral scent. Packaging: The packaging is sturdy and looks cheerful, and it also clearly shows the benefits of this shampoo. Other min/advantages: + A whole line of products you can try. Limited Edition: No. Recommended: Yes. Price: €6.99, big differences by store. Very affordable if you compare it to other shampoos without 'harmful' substances. Grade: 9.

A good shampoo to get acquainted with a shampoo without silicone, parabens and that kind of crap. Because the shampoo foams a lot, it gets used to much better than some of the other 'alternative' shampoos I've tried. It is advised to wash a second time if necessary. I notice that I have better results when I follow this advice.

Not for me.
This shampoo really disappointed me. I'm a relative beginner in the curly girl method and still looking for the perfect shampoo. Online I read good reviews about this shampoo and decided to try it for that reason. Indeed, the shampoo is almost “buttery.” It's a thick cream that doesn't foam very much. No problem at all but I didn't feel like it cleaned my hair and suddenly I had to wash my hair much more often (from 2x a week to every other day)! Halfway through the bottle I gave up and I'm now using another shampoo to wash my hair less.
