Victoria's Secret Bare Vanilla - Fragrance Body Lotion 236 ml

I really enjoy Victoria’s Secret Bare Vanilla. The fragrance is warm, sweet, and comforting without being overpowering. I used it daily after showering and it lasts for several hours. It’s perfect for casual or cozy days, and I’ve gotten compliments on it. Definitely recommend if you love soft vanilla scents.

What did I like? I liked how soft and smooth my skin felt after applying it — it absorbs fairly quickly and doesn’t feel greasy. The scent is light, fresh and a bit sweet, which I enjoy and which lasts for a while. It feels a bit pampering and a little “luxurious” compared with a simple body moisturiser. What didn’t I like? Sometimes the scent was a little strong if I used too much, and on very dry skin I felt like I needed to re-apply it more than once. Also — since it’s more a scented lotion than a heavy cream — it may not be enough if skin is really dry or needs deeper nourishment. How did I use it? I applied it right after showering, on slightly damp skin, to lock in moisture. Sometimes I used it before going out, because I liked that subtle fragrance it gave me. Would I recommend it, and why? Yes — I’d recommend Victoria’s Secret lotion if you want a lotion that smells nice, feels soft on skin and gives a light fresh scent. It’s great for everyday use when your skin doesn’t feel super dry, or if you want to smell good and feel clean and light rather than heavy or sticky.

Now I love victorias secret body mists but their body lotions are a bit hit and miss, I found the bare vanilla way too strong scented and compared to many other of my body lotions it’s quite ‘runny’ and not the thick moisturising lotion you would expect. Due to these factors I would usually just use as a foot cream as it was way too overpowering smell wise to use over my whole body. Made my feet smell amazing though! 

I'm a fan of the Victoria's Secret range but this one is undoubtedly one of my Forever favorites, I love its delicate but long-lasting vanilla scent, it also leaves my skin super soft and fresh
