Yves Saint Laurent Sequin Crush Mono

I bought these in Petrol Blue, and what a pigmentation!

I bought this mono eyeshadow from YSL Beauty attracted by the vibrant petroleum green color and the luminous texture, and I must say that it does not disappoint at all. The shade is an intense green with micropearlescences that capture light in a spectacular way: perfect for an evening look or to give a touch of character to make-up. The pigmentation is really high and very little product is needed to obtain a full effect. The durability is also great: applied with a good primer, it stays intact for hours without losing intensity. That said, I don't consider it an “everyday” eye shadow. The color is very particular and a bit demanding to wear daily, especially for those who prefer more natural or neutral looks. It's more of a product for special occasions than an everyday must-have. Overall it is a great eyeshadow, elegant and of quality, but for the use I would make of it it it cannot be a full 5 star. Perfect if you love to experiment, less so if you're looking for something simple and versatile.
